What inspires you? Is it your home and family? The work you do? The bright sun after a week of rain? Inspiration is a very personal thing, with as many triggers as there are women who act on them.
But what if you could find inspiration in everything you see, do, or experience. Would you feel more joyful and excited? Would you move through each day with eager anticipation?
Today, look for the inspiration that lurks around every corner. Make a note of the things that prompt you to be a better You. And more importantly, when you feel inspired to do a certain thing, take action!

Don’t get so caught up in doing that you miss a spectacular sunset, your child’s first smile, or the early bloom of spring.
Sometimes, be-ing is so much more productive than do-ing.

Although this recipe requires just a bit of prep work, especially if you make your own syrup), it’s work the effort. Yum!
Good for You French Toast (with Homemade Syrup)
Ingredients:
1 slightly beaten egg
1 slightly beaten egg white
3/4 cup skim milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 slices French bread, 1/2 inch thick each
1/4 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel
2/3 cups orange juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions:
To make the French Toast, combine eggs, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix well. Dip bread in egg mixture, being sure to coat both sides. Using a non-stick frying pan or griddle, grill each side until golden brown. (Serves 2-4)
To make the syrup, put orange peel, orange juice, honey, cornstarch, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture starts to thicken. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 2 more minutes. Serve warm syrup over French Toast (and skip the butter).
Serving Tip: Garnish with fresh fruit for an extra healthy splash of color!

What would happen if, instead of counting calories or gray hairs, you counted your blessings? I think amazing things would happen in your life. When you count your blessings (an act of gratitude), you step a little lighter, smile a bit more, and sleep a little sounder.
Try it!
Periodically throughout the day, pause for a moment and count your blessings. Express gratitude for all that’s wonderful in your life. You might be surprised how good this makes you feel.
